"This Indenture Witnesseth, That Albert C. and Sophronia A. Dunning, his wife, of Gibson County, in the State of Indiana, Convey and Warrant to Robert A. Field, of Gibson County, in the State of Indiana, for the sum of Two Thousand Dollars, the following Real Estate in Gibson County, in the State of Indiana, to wit: Lot number Six (6) in Fractional Section One (1) Township one (1) south, Range Eleven (11) west, containing Thirty six and thirteen hundredths (36.13) acres. Also the East Fractional section Two (2) in Township one (1) south Range Eleven (11) west, containing Eight and sixty nine hundredths (8.69) acres. In Testimony Where of, The said Albert C. Dunning and Sophronia A. Dunning, his wife, have hitherto set their hands and seals this 19th. , day of January, 1904.

This is a record of a land transaction between Albert C. Dunning, his wife Sophronia Morrison Dunning and Robert Allen Field in Gibson County, Indiana, in 1904. Robert was a son of Joseph Jackson and Nancy Phillips. Nancy died leaving Joseph with three children, Cynthia Luvina, Robert Allen and Grace F. Joseph then married Rachel E. Morrison, Sohpronia's sister. Joseph and Rachel had one daugher, Nancy Jane Field. Joseph then died leaving Rachel with four children. Rachel then married Henry H. Barton and they had no children. Rachael E. and Sophronia Ann Morrison were the daughters of David Alexander and Jane "Jencie" Swaim Morrison.
The copy of this document was provided by Chris Doyle who is a second great grandson of Albert and Sophronia Dunning. He obtained the document through the surveyors's office of Gibson County, Indiana.
