Benjamin R. Field (1828-1903) was a son of Abraham Field (1793-1870) and Grace Rainey (1797-1863) of Gibson County, Indiana. He had been living in Shelbyville for 10 years at the time of his death. He was transported back to Gibson County, to be buried in the IOOF Cemetery, Hazleton.
