The Rice Cemetery is located in the city of Elkhart, Elkhart County, Indiana. It is an old and extremelly well maintained cemetery. The man in the office of the cemetery was very helpful in locating the grave sites for us.

WISLON/Zella M./1899-1966/Lester E./1884-1952

Lester Earl Wilson was the oldest son of Edgar Farmer and Florence Isabel Keesey Wilson. He was born in Starke County, Indiana 2 September 1884. He married Edna L. Parks (1883-1933) 12 January 1906.

With Edna he had five children: Mildred, James, Wilbur, Edgar and Charlotte. In 1928 he married Zella M. Luckey and they had one daughter, Rose Mary Jane in 1938.

Zella was born to Joseph Luckey and Jennie R. Heffner in May of 1899 in Indiana. She had one brother, Harely (1895-) and a half sister, Mable Pollock (1880-).

Grandmother/Jennie R. Luckey/1866-1955

Jennie R. Heffner was born in Indiana. She had two husbands, Joseph Luckey and a man named Pollock. Jennie and Joseph had two children, Harley (1895-) and Zella. With Pollock shehad one daughter Mable (1880-). She died in 1955 and is buried beside Lester and Zella.

Carl E./Wilson/US Army/ World War II/1913/1982

Carl Edward Wilson was the third child of Harvey Davidson (1877-1948) and Elsie Ann Neal Wilson (1884-1919). He was born in 1913 and died in 1982.
